Sustainability
While we produce beautiful quality jewellery, we also take environmental social and governance seriously in Spriteland, and are working with our global suppliers to put ESG at the forefront of what they're doing.
The Sprite of Surrey
In June 2023 I was delighted to be named BEST JEWELLER IN SURREY by Muddy Stilettos, the stylish UK lifestyle website. This was an award voted for by the public, so it really meant so much to me that it was our customers who were supporting the Sprite.
Any Excuse
The additional joy to running The Silver Sprite is definitely the opportunity to travel the world in pursuit of beautiful new collections. So far Sprite has taken me (and Mr Sprite) to Poland & India, with Arizona & Mexico on the list for 2024.
The New Stone Age
Have you noticed that crystals are everywhere these days? The stress and upset caused by Covid has brought the humble crystal from something hippies and fortune tellers used, into something that all of us are embracing and celebrities (such as Victoria Beckham, Fearne Cotton and Adele) are endorsing. And what’s not to like? Whether you love them for their beauty, their colour or their healing properties, they definitely deserve a place in our lives.
All that glitters…
All of our Twinkle Twinkle collection features cubic zirconias, and we love them for their durability, intense sparkle and affordability. Meanwhile, there are lots of pieces in our Rainbow Brights collection showcasing zircon. So what is the difference, we hear you cry. And how do they compare to diamonds? Grab a coffee, let’s have a chat about them…
And the Winner is…
Here in Spriteland we love happy customers – whether it’s feedback via emails (our favourite being a regular who emailed to say “I love your jewellery and your ethics”), tagged photos on Instagram, or smiling faces at local markets. But it’s also really rather fabulous to be acknowledged by the jewellery industry. At the end of 2021 we were named in two major awards… one of which we won!
The Birth of the Sprite

I never thought that would prove to be so true for me personally. But on Monday 13th July, at 3.30pm I was in another Groundhog Day. Yet another day of sitting in the sun … then it hit me!
Taking Inspiration from Nature
So much of the muse for the collections is the natural world. Certainly in the year that the Sprite started, we were suddenly all appreciating nature more than ever as the world as we knew it was put on pause in lockdown – the sky looked more blue, we saw more bees and walked in more parks than in living memory. It all begins with an idea.
A Year in Jewellery
Jewellery sales fall into some really interesting patterns across the year. The most obvious one being that immovable feast known as Christmas, when presents are a (usually) essential part of the festivities, and jewellery an easy choice for women.
Pearls in the Roaring 20s
Pearls have been a perpetual part of a woman’s jewellery collection for centuries – the epitome of class and elegance. Portraits of Queen Elizabeth I show her with multiple layers of pearls around her neck. The Flapper Girls of the 1920s wore long strings of them with their feathers and glitz. Legally Blonde brought them bang up to date…
